Episode 4

So Nathan has FINALLY cut his hair. It really looks as if he's made a full 180 degree turn and managed to finally pull it all together. But of course this would never had happened without his lovely wife Haley who talked some darn sense into him. In last Tuesdays episode, Haley also talked Nathan into trying to have a little chat with a troubled young basketball star (just like the one and only Nathan scott back in the day) from one of Mrs. Scott's classes. Clinton, who appears to have a bright future in basketball has been causing quite a bit of trouble on and off of the court. Not being seen as a "team player" he got booted off the team, but hopefully with a couple of Nathan's wise words and being that Nathan was in a similar situation, he'll be able to get through to that hard head of his. Meanwhile, there's been some jealousy brewing. Lindsey and Peyton...Peyton and Lindsey, and surprisingly Haley and the new "hot" nanny, whom she realized is starting to get closer with her own son then she is. I'm not really sure what the deal with Lindsey is, although they make it seem like she's totally cool with the fact that Peyton's back in town, she probably secretly has her on her radar 24/7...carefully watching every step she makes closer to lucas. I would say Lindsey has some tough competition, considering how close Peyton and lucas were when they drifted apart. But while we're on the subject of Peyton, her new record label is off the ground. In this episode she signed her first band, which in the end all but one band member left. Mrs. Scott (also Peyton's new bussiness partner) assured Peyton all the other members were getting in the way of her sound anywase, and that she was the real magic of the band. Being that (and we JUST found this out) Haley has apparently gone on tour with her piano, had a major record deal and a top single sometime in the past 4 years, Haley assures her that she knows what she's doing. And last but not least, there's Brook. The opening of her clothing line in Tree Hill seemed to be an absolute failure. In last Tuesday's episode we were finally introduced to Brook's mom, who was sort of the back bone to the company. It was no surprise to Mrs. Davis that she didn't sell one expensive item on her opening day. But with Brook's determination to remain in Tree Hill with her friends rather then going back to New York and running her bussiness with her witch of a mother, still seems to be going pretty strong.

Suggested songs from episode 4:

The Bravery - Time Won't Let Me Go
Kate Voegele - Kindly Unspoken
*Matt Nathanson - All We Are

I myself was a Onetree Hill fan for the first three seasons. I now have a hard time watching it due to my busy scedule. The characters lives seem so different since the finale of the third season. Nathan used to be very good looking, the way you described him he seems like such a scrub. I still always wonder who Lucas will choose in the end, Brook or Peyton, and now it sounds like there's a new girl in the mix.
